Lacing Up My Boots AGAIN...is a non-profit organization that provides services and advocacy to individuals with specific learning disability, learning difficulties, and individuals who are under the autism spectrum. We believe the services we provide will result in positive self-esteem, independent living, employment, and equality for all of our clients. 

    Lacing Up My Boots AGAIN was created by Cicely Fleming the founder who has a child under the spectrum. She found that because her child was high functioning in some areas, he was unable to receive services from some organizations and decided to create a space for individuals who are experiencing some of the same roadblocks. 

   Lacing Up My Boots AGAIN is a non-profit organization that has been organized to assist individuals with specific learning disabilities, learning difficulties, and who are under the autism spectrum. 

   Our organization is here to assist individuals who are caught between two different organizations and are unable to give the support and services they so need. We are aware that specific learning disabilities, learning difficulties, and being under the autism spectrum are different entities but, in all reality, they all share a common thread. They all need assistance with basic skills (reading, writing, and arithmetic), social skills, independent living skills, employment support (how to complete applications, how to dress for an interview, how to answer questions on an interview), and job coaching.    

    We will offer Parent workshops and classes for thoseindividuals who have children. Most places assist parents with their children up to 5 years old, we will continue services beyond 5 years old as parents will always be faced with new challenges as well as questions, so we want to create that safe space for parents to come, talk, and get the resources they need.
